Big Design, Little Library (1 Household)
Welcome readers to your neighborhood with a Little Free Library designed by Anne and John Adams, the creative duo behind Adams Architecture, and built by McKinstry Stauffer Yang Construction. With space for up to 30 books, this library of wood, plexiglass, and steel draws its inspiration from familiar domestic forms. The design is contemporary, yet timeless, and sustainability incorporates a solar panel to softly illuminate the structure in low light.
Library to be installed at the winner's home on a mutually agreeable date.

Watercolors by the Water with Chandler O’Leary (Party of 10)
Harness your inner artist with a three-hour guided sketch at the Waterfront Park on Bainbridge Island with Chandler O'Leary, illustrator and author of On Island Time. Find inspiration in the park's beautiful surroundings -- with its gorgeous water views and plenty of people watching -- and put your creative skills to the test. Includes 10 handmade watercolor kits by artists from Push/Pull. Winners will bring their own sketchbooks and pencils.

Gather the members of your book club for a conversation with Stephanie Stokes Oliver at Wa Na Wari, a center for Black art and belonging in Seattle's Central District. Stephanie will read passages from her anthology, BLACK INK: Literary Legends on the Peril, Power, and Pleasure of Reading and Writing, and answer questions about her illustrious writing career over light refreshments. Includes 10 signed copies of BLACK INK.

Come hungry for a good feast and a good story with WITS Writer-in-Residence and award-winning author Putsata Reang. Putsata and her sister, Motthida, will lovingly prepare a family-style Khmer dinner, then sit down with your group to enjoy the meal and talk about Putsata's writing career and new memoir, Ma & Me, winner of the 2023 Pacific Northwest Book Award. Experience the SAL you love in a new (doodling) way! Sit front row at a 2023/24 Season event of your choice, and doodle alongside SAL's Official Doodler, Tessa Hulls! You'll meet with Tessa before the event, for introductions and a cocktail on SAL, plus a chance to regroup after the event and share experiences and doodles. Each person receives a Patron level ticket to the event, and a sketchbook and pen, courtesy of Paper Hammer.

A Stack of Books, and the Sea Air (Party of 2)
Enjoy a reading getaway for two nights at a historic hotel in Seaview, WA. Built in 1896, the Shelburne Hotel is the longest continuously operating hotel in Washington State. During its long life, the Shelburne has been a center of the Long Beach Peninsula community and has provided a sanctuary to artists, intellectuals, and weary travelers the world over.
