at Seattle Arts & Lectures’ annual gala, Words Bloom, and help us
raise $375,000 to continue fulfilling our mission!
Together, we’ll celebrate 35 years of cultivating transformative experiences
through story and language with our community.

The event will feature a lively reception and elegant multi-course dinner,
an engaging program featuring a Q&A with special guest author Tim Egan,
 readings from writers in our youth programs, and a live and online
silent auction of irresistible literary experiences and treasures.

7 PM | Dinner, Q&A with special guest author Tim Egan,
youth poets reading, and live auction

9:30 PM | Event concludes

Funds raised from the SAL Gala support SAL's youth programs
—Writers in the Schools and the Youth Poet Laureate program—
and help bring inspiring, dynamic writers and thinkers to Seattle
stages and screens, while making our programs accessible to all.
